West Nile virus cases are rising in New Orleans, and LSU Diagnostics tests mosquitoes collected across Louisiana to detect the presence of the virus, which helps mosquito abatement crews know where to spray to reduce mosquito populations and lower the risk of transmission. #PublicHealth #LSUVetMed
