I’ve spent the last two weeks drawing my OCs photocards with a slight decora theme ^_^
Do you love BL and Cat Boys? Then boy oh boy do we have the stamp rally for you this MCM London! Grab a card from any participating artist, buy something for £5 or more to receive a stamp and then come to me for your prize pack! Easy! We’ve got brilliant cat boy themed prizes up for grabs! 😍🐱
Who is this man?? He’s a baby with flat hair 🥹
I have been in Singapore for 1 hour and I’m already amused beyond belief 🤣🤣 Yes I do have the humour of a child and yes I do read too much BL why you ask? 🤣
Brain at 10am; so sleepy. no function.
Brain at 2am: NEW STORY IDEA WRITE WRITE WRITE NOOOOWWWWWW

Brain like... why? I have so many ideas rattling around in my brain right now :')
Unbelievably excited to be heading to #doujima in just under two weeks 👀👀 Singapore has been a country I’ve wanted to visit for a long time and now I finally can :D
Wake up a year later with hundreds of arts is so real 🤣 I personally have haikyuu and sk8 to thank for my art progress the last twoish years 🫠
come all ye artists who crave the secret to artistic success
behold my tidings of advice you didn't ask for:

be indulgent as hell go absolutely apeshit on that canvas use 400 refs and go sicko mode on some blorbos you love until you wake up a year later w/ 100's of arts

thats it thats the advice
Oh no 🥹 I wish you luck for your dream. Annoyingly Caleb came to me during the 10 free tickets (he’s not someone I am collecting) and now my guaranteed sylus dreams are no more so I’m expecting to have to use all 141 of my current tickets to get this card 🥹🥹
Last weekend; how it started, the chaotic inbetween and how it ended 🤣🤣 as much as I love my shelves and this insanely big table…I need something easier to put together I think. This took 6 hours and most of it was assembling cardboard shelving 🥹
Thankyou! I have proceeded to die for the last 4 days 🤣🤣🤣
FINALLY back in Tokyo after a very gruelling con week! Thankyou to everyone who stopped by, visited the booth, bought something, gifted me something or just chatted! I appreciate every one of you 🥰🥰
You totally get it! This is my exact feeling
It’s a big problem 😅 but honestly I like Tokyo so much I’m reluctant to leave haha
Omggg Thankyou for linking me cause I totally missed this!! 😍
Sadly I don’t get over to western Japan very often 😭😭 I’m good for tips on Tokyo and Yokohama and that’s about it 🥲 the joys of living there means less exploring I guess haha
Ahhhh exciting! Things have changed a lot even in the 3 years I’ve been there! (I can finally go entire days cashless Yey!)
Oh this is so so real 🥹 for me it’s bread. If my bread runs low I have nothing to eat (despite the 5kg of rice I’m currently neglecting)
Hahahaha probably a good shout! They’d be overcrowded anyway 😌 I hope you enjoy your trip though!
Go to that dilapidated hole in the wall where the chef is old enough to be your parent or grandparent. I guarantee a better bowl than those labelled as Michelin worthy. 🩵
Tips for those coming to Japan; stay FAR away from popular ramen joints (as in those you see in guide books or on instagram) they’re absolutely shit 🫠 dunno who gave out a reward to this one but it’s possibly the worst ramen I’ve had since coming to Japan. 🫤 I’ve been here 3 years. +
Kinda funny that I work almost exclusively digitally these days. I do miss graphite drawing but the hassle of owning sketchbooks when you live in a 10m2 apartment is sadly not it
👍 Fave; graphite, charcoal and ink. Ok I actually kinda just hate colouring non digitally 🤣 give me that sleek black and white

👎 Least fave; watercolour (idk how some of you get these beautiful illustrations. I have no time for it) oils (the smell gives headaches).
👍Fav: Graphite, watercolour, alcohol markers & gouache. Tho gouache is still finicky but I love the challenge

👎Least fav: Charcoal & acrylic paint. But I haven't touched them since art academy so I'm going by old experiences. Charcoal is so messy and acrylic paint always turned out muddy for me :(
👍Fav: graphite pencil & watercolour. But pretty much every single traditional medium. I like to get my hands dirty!

👎Least fav: digital… I use it for certain client jobs but I don’t get the dopamine from it… there’s a disconnect and I don’t like it
Ahhhhh Thankyou Liv! 🥰🥰🥰
Right? 🥹 it also genuinely pains me to hold a book these days (wrist issues) so saving myself from that issue is also wonderful
