Feel like my ability to post gay fanfic on the internet is somewhat contingent on me retaining some Constitutional rights, so I will be yelling about politics on my gay fanfic account for the foreseeable future
Two things that have helped me with the frustration barrier:
1. Accepting that I will never be able to draw as well as I want to. And you may be tempted to tell me to keep practicing and to believe in myself, but it’s actually been very freeing to just accept you’ll never meet your own -

Most of us understand that drawing isn't a matter of inherent talent, but aquired skill. I also think a lot about how your success in learning to draw might have to do with how well you handle frustration, and how comfortable you are with making mistakes. The barrier i usually see--

Back when subscription boxes were big, I got Pusheen Box and at first it was really fun, but then after a few months it gradually became less and less fun to have *everything* Pusheen, and that it kind of where I’m getting to be with the constant Helluva merch drops
One thing I worry a bit for is merch oversaturation for HB stuff. There are so many drops coming from so many different places and at some point, the fans can’t necessarily keep up and support each one the way they could when it was a few larger consistent ones, and the structure isn’t always there.

My thing is that you‘re so unlikely to have life changing money from your artistic endeavors, so you just just do whatever the fuck you want. Don‘t be afraid of toiling in obscurity; enjoy it
I think that’s part of what a lot of these people are scared of- having to use their own ideas w/o a built-in fandom to get praise from, and risking failing because they aren’t necessarily as amazing as they think they are. That’s just a risk that you have to take. Do you believe in yourself or not?

I find it so odd when people latch onto the Hellaverse specifically while claiming to hate it enough to want to redo it when…you can just make your own Hell? Hazbin isn’t even the only recent show about questioning what gets you into Heaven and redeeming sinners

Admittedly I haven’t watched the original anime since high school, but I feel like the Ranma remake has ramped up the male nudity, and I am 100% on board with this
