For all the commentary and fact checking of the Felon-in-the White House’s lie laden tirade last night, none of it matters when the source of news for republicans are all echoing the bs. Not a single fact checked at Fox News, Newsmax or OAN. Trump supporters live in an echo chamber of bulls#*t.

As an early GenXer Godspell had a big impact on me. This song ‘Day by Day’ in particular resurfaces in my life when I’m in the dark days. When life seems to overwhelm me it is helpful to remember to take it Day-by-Day.

I wish you all find joy in your day.

Well played PM Carney! With the US hostile to science and academic integrity, Canada is a smart choice for top talent.
Canada’s new government is investing big to attract world-class talent in science and technology — and become an innovation powerhouse.

Sunday Thoughts: I’m a scientist with faith. They are 2 sides of the same coin seeking answers to the questions of how and why the universe works with humility to acknowledge that neither has a complete answer but with gratitude to know that both point to Love as a big part of the truth.

Sunday Thoughts: my faith is focused on making the world a better place for everyone. That is why I lift up the marginalized and push back on those that marginalize them (especially within the church). It’s literally What Jesus Would Do.

We Canadians need to take our anthem seriously ito ‘Stand on Guard for Thee’ against the threats from Trump Authoritarianism and the threats within Canada that would pull us in the same direction. We must demand better from our politicians or send them packing.

Polls outside of an election campaign aren’t that useful. But in this case, as a lead up to a Leadership review for Pierre Poilievre in January it speaks that he’s not the right leader to take on the Mark Carney Liberals.

This is what happens when we give the far right power in Canada. They use it to bully those most vulnerable to satisfy their ideological base. Shame on Danielle Smith for stripping Charter Rights from Alberta parents/youth and hiding behind the Notwithstanding Clause.
