Palestinian children have been killed at a rate of more than one child per hour during Israel's war in Gaza.

“A whole classroom of children killed every day for nearly two years,” UNICEF’s executive director said.

Are you a journalist writing about a current heatwave?

The images you choose are critical to the story.

The @climateoutreach.bsky.social team have shown some ideas here which help stress the risks rather than the typical ice creams: www.climatevisuals.org/how-do-you-p...

🎊 Springer Nature Discovers MDPI 🎊

Springer Nature has spawned a copycat journal series called "Discover" mimicking #MDPI journal titles and citation behaviours. We even made a browser game to prove it (see 🔗).

It was an absolute honor to chair EuroCIM2025! Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen - especially Oliver Dukes and @svansteelandt.bsky.social for their incredible support. A big thanks also to all the participants, without whom this conference wouldn’t be possible.
EuroCIM2025 came to an end! Thank you to all speakers, participants, and partners who made this year's conference a success. See you next year in Oxford!

It’s a wrap! My #euroCIM2025 take-away message is
1. People are working on causal inference topics that go waaaay over my head
2. Many applied researchers are still unaware of the heroic assumptions they make
3. Both groups need to make efforts to close this gap
