On the bench tonight... I hate it when you have a working machine, then put it away for only a few weeks, and when you bring her back out... Screen garbage. So, here we have a nightmare of a machine to work on. Anyone recognise this underpowered oddball??

Ok.. So after discovering that my keyboard no longer worked on my awesome Enterprise at Cambridge last weekend, I opened her up.. Yup.. membrane completely knackered. New one arrived today, and installed!! The Enterprise is back up and running!! Great version of IK+ !!

Had an absolute blast at this year's event! It's so great speaking to members of the public and discussing all things retro computing!! This year I was in the Dev's room with fellow developers who, like me, still write software for computers that are now 40+ years old!!

On the bench tonight is my lovely Thomson MO5E. The much rarer (and cooler!) variant of the MO5. 6809 with 48k of ram and EFGJ03L graphics chip. 16 colours on screen at 320x200. Not too shabby for 1984. Just look at her!! 😍
