I finally wrote an intro post to pin. I can't ever be brief so made it an image (transcribed in alt). I was going to apologize for being long-winded but you know what, if you're following me, this kind of overly... everything posting is exactly what you should expect :P Interests and things I post:
List starts with an emoji that's a cartoon version of me doing a Vulcan salute.
Immigrant and dual citizen, Belgian flag and US flag emojis.
I am the world most boring archaeologist. I repost archaeology stuff but I rarely post about my own research.
TV emoji. I love good TV. My obsessions are The Expanse, Babylon 5, and Twin Peaks. I'm into all the Star Treks, though of course I have my preferences. I also love bad TV. I really enjoy watching questionable procedural dramas with a million episodes. If you get me started, I will absolutely give you my overly detailed takes on some very unserious character or plotline.
PC emoji. While I play a wide variety of video games, my biggest obsessions have been rpgs and city builders.
You'll find I post selfies, food pics, and flower pics. I am obsessed with dahlias and repost just about any dahlia pic I come across. Pink dahlia emoji.
I work out most days and I have done so for years but I rarely post about that. Another emoji of cartoon me, this one flexing a bicep.
I repost art that speaks to me somewhat regularly. I also occasionally post my own crude drawings/paintings. I have neither the talent nor the many hours/years of practice required to be good at it, but I enjoy it very much. Emoji of the White Star from B5, made from a painting I did.
Over on the other place, I used to retweet a lot of bats and fashion history posts but I don't yet get as many in my feed here. Once I do, though, there will be lots of that.
Relevant colors: List of emojis: bi flag, aro flag, ace flag, autistic pride.

*My Ameriversary is the anniversary of the day I came to the US, NOT the day I became a citizen. I know it confuses people that these are two different things. The second is in November.. and took place 15 years after the first.

It's my Ameriversary* and I'm finally writing my Halloween cards. The printed cards are a little darker than I would like, but I can't keep tinkering with the colors/trying different printers forever, so I'm just going with it :P You can still sign up to receive one! :D

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 89/100: This rather disturbing moment.
A scene from Babylon 5: Garibaldi stands in his bathroom, wearing a paisley robe. He has a small amount of shaving cream left on his face. His mirror is fogged over and he's holding out his finger to the mirror, where he just finished drawing a neutral to possibly sad face.

Click through to see a gorgeous hat that goes with this :D [it's a black ensemble in 1890s style, though the sleeves are honestly pretty modest for the 1890s :D Double buttons on the jacket, very big pointy collar]

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 85/100: When we learn that one of the many things Lennier learned in the Temple where he spent most of his life is kicking people's asses.
A scene from Babylon 5: Lennier is standing in the casino with his hands up, some fingers extended, in some kind of martial arts pose. Londo stands next to him, looking arround worriedly, as a bunch of other people approach the two of them from all sides.

A scene from Babylon 5: A man, with his maybe jaw-length hair standing up in the center, and combed down with a little curl up at the end on the sides, holds a stick with a lizard on it that he just pulled off the fire in front of him. He is sniffing the lizard.

As if an encrusted silver dress was not already a lot, it has a scarlet satin coat with a matching silver lining. There is an occasion here of which I can only imagine. Late #1950s Arnold Scaasi @mfaboston.bsky.social #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

If you were a woman in the #1890s trying to avoid other members of her household then a tea gown that blend in with the wallpaper might not be a bad idea. It is all bold voided velvet with a lace yoke in generous proportions, Jean-Philippe Worth @museumofcityny.bsky.social #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Reasons I love #Babylon5, 81/100: Everyone gets a cool myth name and picture (though tragically, we don't get to see most of them!)
A scene from Babylon 5: An illuminated manuscript, with a picture of Lorien. The back of the head of a person looking at the book can be seen, as well as the hands of another person, gesturing at it.
