”While our research team was following the activity of one our recently reintroduced wolf packs that settled around the southern end of the park, we had the privilege to watch the two eldest wolves of the pack bring down a lame Elk cow by a riverside. However, before we could mount the cameras to get proper footage, both of them spooked and sprinted back the way they had come from. Emerging from the nearby northern treeline, we witnessed a much rarer animal emerge. Squalidrakon Carnifex Imperator, one of seven currently known that inhabit the park, but the first seen this far south. The dinosaur approached the wolves’ kill, scooped it up with little effort, and sauntered back into the treeline without casting our camera crew a second glance.”
