I wrote a folk tale based on this very thing, so short answer yes, I do think years and years and years later we start to see Dalish elves, in whatever way they have evolved with a vallaslin for Lavellan. What they call Lavellan in this pantheon is up to HC.

I didn't even realize that until ppl pointed it out to me! And then I laughed in delight, tucking that info away in my heart forever. A friend told me about watching a streamer play and come across romanced Lav and screeching 'Solas has a wife??'. We all know what default really means. 😉

I'll forever be grateful to BW that #Solas and #Lavellan is a world state. It's my favourite Dragon Age novel. I love exploring them both as a couple and their connection as well as each of them as individual characters. They are so captivating to me.

C & A? I've loved him ever since DAI and VG made me love him even more. Unapologetic #Solas lover. I've always seen him as someone drowning in pain and grief and VG made it even more clear to me. Nothing about his actions surprised me in VG and no fictional character has captivated me like him.

I was emotional as well and I couldn't help but be in awe of the display of courage from Lavellan (and Inky in general) in that scene. To be the only voice that speaks up for Solas. I believe it's partly tied to only the Inquisitor knows what being bound to the veil feels like.

And their journey has been for years. The din'anshiral is a path they each walk and it's painful and beautiful all at once. I'm not one for soul mates but if ever there was a couple narratively written as one, it's these two.
