This box is incredible value for Warcry. You get a bespoke warband, you get enough models to put together a compendium Seraphon warband and you get an Underworlds warband that if they continue to release rules for in Warcry, you can ally into either of the previous. 2.5 warbands with flexi allying

They did confirm they're getting Warcry rules after release so you'll be able to run them for sure!

The Road to Defiant starts with our Glasgow event on the 12th of July, a 3 round tournament, with our photobooth setup to get photos of your painted warband, a streaming setup and the wonderful terrain setups expected! (cont)

The next Warcry tournament is July 12th in Glasgow, the Road to Defiant! It is a local one, so it is perfect for casual players dipping their toes into trying matched play!

It is a standard WorldCryUK tournament, and that means there will be a photography booth to take awesome pictures (cont)

On Sunday, led by @warbosskurgan.bsky.social, battle through three missions with your warband through custom boards, earn Plunder (and maybe some Cursed Plunder!), collect Emberstone, all that using beautifully hand illustrated cards and maps to add a truly unique and memorable touch to the day.

There are great tournaments taking place often, I organise some of them in the UK under WorldcryUK (hi!)

There's also some really good Warcry content creators like WargamesOnToast, OffMetaMusings, 3H1C and TheSaltySea that have tons of Warcry specific videos

It does seem that the game is in a lull product wise, but there are semi-regular FAQs for AoS units getting rules and points adjustments.

Listbuilding is really open, with bespoke Warcry teams, Underworlds models and most AoS units being matched play legal (cont)

There is a relatively small but consistent and growing following for Warcry, mostly from people looking to play a great skirmish game that's fast and has a very good matched play scene.
