As I rushed out of the building to my next screening, I ran through a dark alley and saw a shadowy-man in a hat giving me “the eyebrows” as though he knew me. I thought, “what a creep,” gave him a look like “wtf mate,” and continued walking off…

#LFF was also one of my first experiences doing red carpets. I jumped in at the deep end, interviewing people I didn’t know about films I hadn’t yet seen! I immediately loved the camaraderie of the journalists, & realized what a lovely community it was — I wanted in!
