Helixftr is returning to the browser as Helixftr Deluxe! Patrons of either my or Alsnapz's Patreon have early access while work progresses, then it will be free to the public once it is finished. Currently, it only has The Gryphon.

I love Pokemon designs, but I just don't know if I can buy another game. Everything but the Pokemon themselves is absolutely bland and boring. I didn't finish the last two I bought.

Funny, I've been recently listening to some stuff that came out then and thinking "damn, they were making such good shit back then, can we go back to that?" It was so catchy and optimistic.

You ever see a drawing by someone else that's pretty good, but there's just a couple things off that keep it from being great, so you edit it yourself but you can't ever post it or show anyone because it would be weird and probably make the original artist feel bad?

I've done it myself, but it's a huge pain. It's so fucking annoying that running out of ingredients just causes the crafter to break, and so much consideration has to be put into working around that. I don't understand why it's like this.

FFT is every bit as brutal as I remember. From context clues, I think I'm usually two levels below what the game expects.

I'm not sure what the devs' expectations are here. I try to do a few random fights here and there, but do they want you to do like 3-5 random battles between every MSQ battle?

It turns out if choose to leave between sequential battles, it just loads you from the point before the battles started. It technically prevents softlocking, but you still have to redo the battles.

It's weird. I actually have a great family, but... I don't really want to be around them. My birthday is tomorrow and some of them want to visit, but that would make it less enjoyable for me. I just don't have the heart to tell them, though.

I guess I generally don't like to be around people.

It's pretty cool having put this together. I programmed it, Alsnapz animated it, and Geckonori drew the background. It's the first time I've been a part of a group that all contributed parts to a cohesive result.

I hope I get to feel this more in the future as I continue to learn how to make games.

Holy hell, taking apart a Dualsense controller to get to the joysticks is an absolute nightmare. It's almost enough to consider getting the Edge, but $200... fuck off with that, come ON.
