Not English, but I found Hamnet to be similar in tone to Lincoln in the Bardo. Lincoln contains more humour but it just highlights the tragedy more.

Streets closed to foot traffic are fun—in the Plateau and Verdun neighborhoods. Ditto to the rest mentioned above. Also a big club scene, and outdoor festivals, depending on what you like. There’s also a new Cree boutique in Old Montreal (Wichita store)
