1/ 1. Brown is the second university where an active shooter is the second such incident some students have lived through. In February 2023 (!!! Almost 3 years ago!!!), the shooting at MSU was the 2nd in less than 18 months that some students lived through.

Genuine question — how does one (government) sanction the ICC? And is it “sanction” as in US sanctions against Russia for invading Ukraine, or as in if you’re in a boat in the Caribbean you die?

In my youth I knew every song and the usefulness of Shazam was a mystery to me. Now that my brain is old and frail and I understand why it would be useful, (and Shazam is on my phone for free), I learned this weekend that that it is, in fact, a useless app.
