Shades of autumn in the Trossachs: This is a landscape both seen and felt: the sort of place where the earth seems to exhale, and you catch its breath on your skin. A place that does not shout its beauty but lets it seep into you, slow as mist through moss. #autumn #woodland #Scotland #landscape
While wandering through a Perthshire woodland, I came across an ancient stone dyke wall which was now resembles a battle line between the old deciduous woodland and the planted pine woods, with casualties falling across the divide. #woodland #Scotland #forest
I love the lead up to Autumn, the cooler moist mornings bringing out details that are normally passed by.

#Pieces of the formidable landscape in the #Glencoe valley are illuminated by the early morning sun, its light finding ways throng the cracks in the clouds. I think one of the mountains in this shot is Meall a' Bhùiridh; please correct me if I’m wrong.

Snow on the peaks of the mountains in Glencoe. We are following river Etive as it meanders towards the mountains. A low hanging cloud is passing by the mountain. Pieces of the landscape are illuminated by the early morning sun, finding its way through the cracks in the clouds.

A photo of a waterfall in the distance falling in two stages between rocky slows, partly covered with moss. In the foreground the water flows quite calmly between little rocks and stones. Branches on the right side bring the colours of autumn into the scene - some colourful leaves can be seen on the rocks too.

A beautiful moment where some light fog drifted into one of my local woodlands. The ferns were beginning to turn, likely due to the hot and dry summer we have had in the South of England.

I visited Hiroshima a few weeks ago and was deeply moved by what I saw, my thoughts and best wishes to the people of the city on the 80th anniversary of the 1st atomic bomb drop on civilians.

A patch ferns bowed, burnished in a copper hue by the slow kiss of autumn, lie at the foot of a tree, with trees in the background fading in the mist.
Roy, I think you will find that location is Milton Basin , Loch Ard. Nice image anyways 👍🏻

Why do Amazon delivery guys not ring or chap the door when delivering items these days?… I’ve been waiting in the house waiting on an item only to find on my doorbell camera that it was left on the doorstep an hour and a half ago without ringing the doorbell.
Just watching clouds go bye. #Landscape

It's just the entrance to a local church car park, but to quote — Elliott Erwitt “To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
Falling in love again with monochrome. Turnberry Lighthouse, Ayrshire, Scotland on a rather windy day.
