it’s something like… the pitch changes are highly expressive and highkey easier to do by pitchbend rather than notebend

But generally requires less dynamics because you just kind of want the vocaloid to be loud throughout the whole thing 😭

Generally less need for vibrato too

It only started to really click for me when I was doing an Alesana song and I was like “damn why does he sound like asscheeks compared to the original” and when I started tuning the Get Scared song I was like “it all makes sense to me now”
