This is such a baffling and infuriating line of thinking in their part. And like I mentioned elsewhere, I just don’t get why companies don’t include the originals along with the remakes. It’s so easy to do these days but they’re just blinded by mindsets like this.

I've never understood the idea that a current bad entry in a franchise somehow undoes all the good the previous entries did. It's such a weird way of looking at media.

As for MOTU, I mean... we'll have to see about that. I'm a longtime He-Man fan and I'm cautiously curious about the film.

With all the remakes lately, I often think back to Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles. While it was a remake of Rondo of Blood, both the original Rondo and Symphony of the Night were included as unlockable bonuses. That’s an example of how things should be with remakes.

Got myself another Ben 10 Alien Form commission from @obsessor.bsky.social and this time it's the "biggest" one yet. This time I asked him to make my Sona into a To'kustar like Way Big (a natural alien pic for any Tokusatsu fan) and I'm so ecstatic with the end results!

This is absolutely infuriating. Even if you feel a remake is actually better than the original version (which is an entirely a subjective thing), the original should flat out be available alongside it (like as an unlockable extra within the remake). The old versions should not be left behind.
