The Digital ID scheme is costly, unclear and intrusive - and Plaid Cymru opposes the proposal to introduce this scheme.

I spoke in Westminster Hall yesterday to raise my constituents’ concerns about #digitalid

ID Digidol

Mae’r cynllun ID Digidol yn gostus, aneglur ac yn amhoblogaidd - mae Plaid Cymru’n gwrthwynebu’r cynnig i gyflwyno’r cynllun hwn.

Siaradais yn Neuadd Westminster ddoe i godi eich pryderon am ID Digidol. Gwrandewch ar yr araith 👇

Roedd yr hyn a glywsom yn y Pwyllgor Materion Cymreig ddydd Mercher yn peri pryder.

Tydy cydraddoldeb rhwng y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg ddim yn ddewisol - mae’n ofyniad cyfreithiol. Yn amlwg nid yw hyn yn wir yn ein carchardai.

Mae angen cywiro hynny.

What we heard in the Welsh Affairs Committee on Wednesday was concerning.

Equality between Welsh and English isn’t optional - it’s a legal requirement. But clearly this isn’t the case in our prisons.

That needs fixing.

Reform’s former leader in Wales, Nathan Gill, has been sentenced to over ten years in prison after he took bribes to spread pro-Russian propaganda.

Wales stands with Ukraine.

It’s time for a full investigation into Russian interference in our democracy.

Welsh language rights should be equal to English in all public sector settings in Wales.

In yesterday’s Welsh Affairs Committee, we had the opportunity to discuss the Welsh Language Commissioners’ concerns about the rights of the Welsh language in prisons. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Tydy Llywodraeth y DU heb gynnal asesiad o effaith newidiadau treth etifeddiaeth ar Gymru. Felly neithiwr, pleidleisiais yn erbyn treth barhaol Llafu ar ffermydd teuluol.

Mae parhau heb gynnal asesiad o’r effaith ar ein cymunedau yn annerbyniol.

The UK Government has not conducted an assessment of the impact of inheritance tax changes on Wales. So last night, I voted against Labour’s continued family farm tax.

Pushing ahead without knowing the impact on our communities is not acceptable.

Yn sgil carcharu cyn-arweinydd Reform yng Nghymru am dderbyn llwgrwobrwyon, mae’n hollbwysig bod ymchwiliad trylwyr yn digwydd.

Following the imprisonment of a former Reform leader in Wales for accepting bribes, it’s vital that a thorough investigation into Russian influence on UK politics now takes place

Wales is a net exporter of energy - yet people here still pay some of the highest energy bills in the UK.

Today’s Budget changes none of that.

We deserve fairness, and control over our own resources.

Mae troadau pedol diddiwedd a straeon heb eu cadarnhau yn y wasg yn niweidio hyder y cyhoedd cyn Cyllideb ddydd Mercher.

Pan fo gwasanaethau cyhoeddus eisoes ar eu gliniau, mae anhrefn Llafur wedi gwaethygu pethau.

Mae Cymru'n haeddu gwell.

Mae dedfryd o 10.5 mlynedd yn adlewyrchu difrifoldeb y sefyllfa.

Dylai unrhyw un sy’n ceisio defnyddio arian amheus, i erydu ein democratiaeth, wynebu'r canlyniadau.

Rhaid amddiffyn ein democratiaeth.

Our democracy must be protected.

Mae gofynion Plaid Cymru o Gyllideb Hydref Llywodraeth yn glir - mae angen sicrhau tegwch i Gymru.

Ond mae Llywodraeth Lafur Cymru wedi gwrthod ein galwadau. Maen nhw wedi rhoi'r gorau i sefyll cornel Cymru. ❌

Dim ond Plaid Cymru sydd yn sefyll fyny dros ein cymunedau. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💚

Thanks to poor decisions by Westminster - Wales has suffered the biggest fall in jobs and the highest rise in unemployment in the UK.

Plaid Cymru warned this would happen and now we’re paying the price.

Hopefully we’ll see a fairer tax system in the upcoming Budget…

“For every £1 of licence fee funding received by S4C, £1.59 was generated for the Welsh economy.”

Roedd mwy na 75% o wariant S4C yng Nghymru.

Mae hyn yn dangos pwysigrwydd S4C, a’r effaith gadarnhaol sydd ganddi ar ein cymunedau, ein heconomi leol, ein hiaith a’n diwylliant.
