just got to see De Lift (1983) in the theater and it was such a treat! an elevator is killing people and the only one who can stop it is an elevator repair man. it's so much fun i love this movie

i highly recommend the other films by the director, Dick Maas:
Amsterdamned: about a guy scuba diving the canals of Amsterdam, killing people
Saint: about zombie saint nicholas attacking Amsterdam, killing people
and Prey: about a lion loose in Amsterdam, killing people

i wish "this movie is really well made" didn't sound like a backhanded compliment, but it genuinely is really well made! it's about an elevator that kills people, it didn't have to go this hard but it did!!

just saw like, five different red-light-runners in a twenty minute drive including one audacious driver swerve around myself and another car stopped at a red light, where we had been for half a minute, to run the light from the right turn lane. like, come on, we're trying to live in a society.

in ninth grade i was voted "most likely to go to the movie theater by themself" and you know what? they were right. it rules. im gonna go see alien at 9:30 pm at a theater that serves beer.
