It's not even December, and deaths lost on our roads have exceeded all of last year already. We pretend the problem is anything other than dangerous driving, dangerous infrastructure for anyone outside in a car, and excessively growing vehicle sizes.

Look how efficient the narrow dooring lane move so many people compared to cars and look how many people use this street. Build it and they will come. I can't wait for the Wellington Street upgrade.

Ditto. We have so little 'third space' in our city. Places you can just exists without the expectations of buying something. Here real estate is a speculative asset to make money off and it shows.
Paris has so much public outdoor space to hang out in. Public squares and parks with heaps of seating. Near me, all green space is sports ovals and a couple of crappy playgrounds. And that’s more than loads of suburbs. This only works if you care about community not just property.
In Paris it’s normal to raise a family in a three-bedroom apartment. Why aren’t we building more in Australia?

Some people complain when bikes take up space on a train, yet they don’t seem bothered by cars and trucks clogging up the middle of the CBD and taking up far more room

Brilliant, exciting new station with so much opportunities. This area could be developed into our own version of what SOHO is to London.
