Man it's freeing to not have that old habit anymore. It did really take so much more energy from me than I ever realised. Still surprised it was that easy to stop it. Just "I don't want to do this anymore" and then that was it.

Finally got rid of an old habit. It started out as OCD, but hasn't been OCD for many years. Just never got around to doing anything. Now finally thought "let's stop", and just stopped. It was pretty much as easy as deciding not to eat candy.
