At the end of the day it’s about eating better but just not necessarily cutting down on how much you’re eating.

Also I am now drinking Cranberry & Raspberry juice fairly often because the sugar in that is low.

As for blood pressure, honestly it fluctuates but I’m trying to be less online in terms of looking up the news etc. which has definitely helped.

This isn’t obviously the easiest way to lower those things. But I realised if I was losing weight I’d be cutting stuff out of my diet anyhow so I might as well focus on changing my relationship with what I’m eating as opposed to losing weight.

Though with the price of chocolate that wasn’t too difficult.

Also I’ve wanted a better relationship with food because I was eating just for the sake of gaining.

Squash as it’s known here is just diluting juice that you add water to. I also cut down the amount of tea I drank as I’d often have 3 sugars in them. So that was a simple enough change.

I also just focused on swapping out high sugar snacks like chocolate for more carbs.

I also changed out having red meat as often and eating more stuff like chicken and fish. Which has also probably helped.

As for sugar to be honest I mostly cut out fizzy drinks which was easy as I don’t tend to drink carbonated stuff. So mostly stuck to either water or squash.

I So after talking with my GP I just made some small but simple changes.

For Cholesterol I gave a new brand of spreadable butter a go that is made from Plant Sterols that have been shown to lower cholesterol. I eat a lot of bread so this was worth a shot.

Blood Sugar down ✅
Cholesterol down ✅
Blood Pressure lowered ✅

It’s been tough but my health plan is now seeing results without weight loss which was important for me

Weight has fluctuated now settled at 340lbs. Time to grow again and way past my previous high of 350-357lbs 🐷

Yep stress and anxiety certainly is not helping me right now. Doesn’t help that genetically I’m predisposed to high BP due to genetics. Got diagnosed with Hypertension at 18 and had high BP all through my life.
