It's always so lovely seeing new calves in the paddock I can see outside my office window.
It's almost here - Pointy Ears and Purple Glitter coming October 20th :) :) :)

I’ve never heard of anything like it before.” Ian leaned closer to Sparky. “What other tricks can you do?”
“I wouldn’t stoop to performing tricks like a circus pony.” Sparky huffed and ruffled his feathers. “I engage in sophisticated avian discourse.”
Ian laughed. “He’s got personality, too!
And yes, I can talk. I can also recognize quality fruitcake at fifty paces.”
Ian’s eyes widened with delight. “That’s amazing! How’d you train him to do that?”
Tynan relaxed slightly, grateful for Ian’s assumption. “It’s a... specialized training technique not used very often.”
“Must be.
slight grease marks.
“Sorry about that,” Ian said, noticing the smudges. “Hazard of the job. So, is it true this bird can talk? That’s amazing. I’ve seen parrots do it, but never a raven.”
Sparky, who had been suspiciously quiet, suddenly perked up. “The name’s Sparky, lanky boy.
My new release is due out tomorrow - yay!!!! Here's a wee teaser between the two secondary characters that really came across on the page - Ian, Malik's mechanic, and Sparky who is Tynan's talking raven.

“It’s nice to meet you, Ian.” Tynan extended his hand, which Ian shook vigorously, leaving
It's so much easier in the declutter wars when you have a wonderfully energetic teenager doing it for you :) Huge thanks sweetie.
My wonderful grandperson visited again today - you have no idea how messy my material storage and this closet was, but now I can see what I've got. Three huge rubbish bags later - there was so much we needed help to get it all in the trash bins.
I wanted to make some resin blanks so my son Peter could have a go at turning them. My only problem is that I don't have a pressure pot - watching this anxiously to see if it will flash cure, lol.
including two of the spin-offs. Perhaps I just need a holiday, but let's show Stockton Wolves some love this week <3 <3 <3

or Trent from Don't Bite. And how could I forget Tony in Tell Me The Truth - three books out of five in my Stockton Wolves series all had one human as an MC. Is this a sign I've written too many books, or do I need to go back and reread my own stories? OMG, and there were some in my A&O books too,
#ThrowbackThursday - oh, my goodness. I feel so awful, lol. I had been thinking all this time while I was writing Sage in my Tentacle Resolutions story (due out Dec 29th), that he was the first human MC I had written in a Fated Mates story. But what about poor Mace in Mace's Awakening,
Now... what could I use that spill off for? It's a really cute latice effect.
Finally got a chance to try out my new resin cure machine. I'm not unhappy with the results. My 24 hour cure resin cured to where I could demold in 3 hours, but clearly it has a fan in it, and that made a bit of a mess. Fortunately the silicone mat that goes in the machine made for easy clean up.
10K words done this week - unfortunately over three books, so not as much progress as I'd like, but every word counts :) What have you been up to this week?
Now I'm faced with that age old question - do I just stop, or do I add more? Your suggestions are always appreciated <3
Well, that didn't turn out how I expected, lol. I think I got hit with the "must get this finished" which I should be applying to my writing, not my art, and I got this. I'm not super unhappy with it, but it's come out too dark for what I'd originally intended.
now I just need to work out what to put in the middle. Have you been crafting or arting this week? Can I see?
What I am loving about working in watercolor is the use of water to create effects in the paint. I just put the color on, then spray with water (directional spray works wonders) and then leave it to dry to see what happens. This has three layers done so far...
Help :) <3 :) Thank you <3 <3 <3
Suggestions needed please - you all know I am struggling to write about Apollo. I am writing him, but it's not easy and while I truly appreciate the advice you've given me so far, Apollo still needs a flaw. I'd even settle for "flawsome" but he needs something to take the shine off that perfection.
Black or white objects could be effective. What do you think?
I realized, thanks to doing so much writing, my poor art journal was being neglected. So I did what I often do when I'm not sure what to do and sprayed down some colors and added some water. This one dried in an interesting way - I think it could make a good collage background maybe. Or silhuettes??
moon, the darkness of the sea, and the menace of the rocks. Pirate magic at it's best, in my opinion. But what about you? What part of The Pirate's Treasure did you enjoy? Was it the fact Petrov thought Rojan was so "infuriating"?
