Yesterday the Oregon GOP's official FB page promoted the idea (hatched by a fringe OR activist and published in a recently created online "newspaper" run by a professional shit-stirrer) that Oregonians from across the state should "caravan" to Salem, arriving at the same time and place as No Kings.

A coordinated statewide caravan and rally is being organized in Oregon as part of a growing recall effort targeting Governor Tina Kotek. Participants from counties across the state will travel to Salem on Saturday, October 18, converging at the Oregon State Capitol for a rally scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
Pre-rally arrival and parking are set for 1:00 p.m., followed by a caravan through Salem and onto Interstate 5.
The event involves simultaneous departures from multiple regions, with schedules approved in coordination with the Oregon State Police. Organizers are emphasizing punctuality, traffic safety, and compliance with all laws during the caravan.

We got lots of frog costumes and signs in Salem. The frog has become a symbol here in Oregon, representing peaceful protest after President Trump claimed Portland is burning down and war-ravaged.
