Momo is DMing because it's her FAVORITE thing in the world. Key wants to be the murder hobo and Bell keeps stopping him because they've been shafted into the party mom position. Tae is making sure the snacks are always filled as an excuse to get up and leave the table once in a while.

I ended up looking through a bunch of the art I've commissioned or been gifted for my current and upcoming books and getting very sentimental over it. I just love all my stories so much and seeing all this art for them makes me so happy.

I recently updated as well because Final Fantasy XIV said they were going to stop supporting Win10 and I was used to using 11 at work already. I miss having my taskbar on the top of my screen though. 😭

For Bell I've chosen 'Love Somebody' by Maroon 5. They want to be on love so much, with someone who loves them back.

I actually struggled a little with this one, but settled on 'Accidentally in Love' by Counting Crows. Despite how much they wanted love, Bell wasn't looking for it when they met Tae, but stumbled backwards into it anyway.

I absolutely make playlists for WIPs and characters. I don't like writing without music. (I don't like doing a lot without music tbh.) BYMMS's playlist is currently 173 songs/10.5 hours long. It's a mix of plot songs, character songs, and songs the characters would listen to.

But hey, I learned from both of them. I think I need to buy additional clamps for the book press and then try again with only taping the spine like I did the first one. So will shop around for those and try this again when I get them.

First 2 attempts at sprayed edges. I did 2 layers on the 1st one & that was a mistake. It caused a slight bleed onto the cover & inner pages. I also might not've clamped it enough. 2nd try I taped the entire cover. Turned out great but the tape ripped the inside of the cover. ): So 2 ruined copies.

Kelly knows the world is fucked, but she's never known another one, so she makes the best of what she has. She doesn't LIKE it, but she finds the joy of it where she can. Her brother is much the same way. That being said, they both know it can be much better, and they're determined to make it so.

So far only Kelly in Iron Spirit has a sib, her big brother Ken. He's very vital to the story, which might not've happened without him. Ken is a serious but caring guy who wants to protect his sister but also understands that they have a very dangerous job to do. He's dedicated to it above all else.

The homogenisation and consolidation of buisinesses and brands has led to the erosion of the midlist, the indie movie or band or comic. There's a real sense of "I'll only try media that's already popular / famous," and I'm begging you to look for the weird shit, the experimental, the niche.

Three step process:
1. Take a break and don't write at all for a day or two. It's okay to rest, we all need it.
2. Do a hobby that brings you joy but isn't writing. Draw, read, play a game.
3. Reread your own work to get inspired and also get back up to speed on where you were.

My 1st book took me multiple years & 4 multi-draft rewrites, & I went to college for writing & got a whole degree before finishing the final draft. I've learned A Lot since then. Right now I'm getting about a book a year, but I hope to do 2-3 next year, & keep that pace going for a while.

I publish one 80-100k+ word (epic fantasy) novel, and I can only do that because I drafted 8 novels before I started publishing any. 📚💙
