vs is confirmed to be kusao, but 7’s is uncredited—but people credit kusao to it sometimes.

which makes sense because 7’s drama cd has kusao, as does vs ofc, so there’s no reason why it SHOULDNT be, yet he was left uncredited if so. i just need to be sure here……. i need second opinions….

i still can’t tell if it’s kusao. it’s so similar yet a little different at the same time. could just be the recording, i don’t know. i struggle with these sorts of things

(and yes this is the JP voice for 7, the english for adol is quite similar though isn’t it? but a bit deeper in english)

whilst his ‘level’ is technically just getting higher and higher, just scaled to the new monsters in a way

like the enemies in 9 are far stronger than the enemies in ys 1 for example

besides would people REALLY wanna play a game with adol’s party of level 20s beside level 150 adol like ???? lol ?

yeah! like when he’s injured, of course he has to regain his strength. like ys 6 he nearly died, he’s absolutely not as healthy and strong as he was even at the end of 8

but when he’s hopping between celceta and felghana? i’d argue the scale of monsters are somewhat getting stronger with him

which i’d argue the ‘adol loses his levels’ thing is dumb anyway too. why are we considering levels to begin with when other connected games also make you level 1.

and if we have to, we can just say adol’s level 1 in ys 7 is = to his max level in ys 6. simple as that. he’s not LOSING experience

i think they also just somehow got it in their heads that ‘adol always loses his levels at the beginning of each game. why? because he lost his memory too! it’s the only explanation for how they keep ys standalone!!’

iirc in ys 1’s prologue (i forget if it’s in the original but it’s definitely in eternal’s) he says he removed his tunic and used it as a towel to wash his wounds
so assuming it’s the same one…. it got soaked by water and used like a rag.

if it’s not it was probably ripped up by the rheboll 😔

i think that’s his armour!

random but there’s actually an unused(?) sprite of adol for ys eternal that wears a little yellow tunic and i assume that was meant to be his starter outfit in barbado because there’s also a little sprite on the same sheet of his clothes and it has the yellow tunic too

even if people complain around the internet there’s no harm in contacting directly just in case, otherwise we may end up with a PS5 ys 8 situation where it’ll just never get fixed 😔
