Hi everyone. I’m an artist/illustrator working primarily in oil and acrylic paint, and I’m also a software engineer interested in game dev and front end.
@nathanhoad.bsky.social told me to sign up so here I am 😸🎨 this is my latest painting, The Emerald City.

Oil painting featuring a futsu pumpkin, green bottle, mirrored bauble, moomin toy holding an Apple, a coloured sand bottle, and marbles, all on top of a wooden Fry’s Cocoa box and behind these items is an open yellow book (The Wizard of Oz) with green page edges. There is a green crocheted blanket with red, white and black trim as the back drop. In front of the Cocoa box is a green striped pumpkin. The painting is on a desk with a full palette and the painting set up behind it.

Miss Major Griffin-Gracy passed away today according to the House of GG. She was a veteran of the Stonewall rebellion and a lifelong organizer for the safety and dignity of trans people, sex workers, and the incarcerated. She came from the same generation and milieu as Marsha and Sylvia. She was 78.

MiGW recovery includes reading comics with Coconut. This one, Mabel and Francine, is by Melbourne artist Pierrre Lloga. It’s one of the most beautiful comics I’ve ever read (it’s wordless but detail rich). Found it at All Star Comics in Melbourne city 📚
