Every year around this time, I plan what to grow to meet my need and where to plant them, carefully applying the best crop rotation methods to ensure healthy nutritionally rich plants. I also have a greenhouse, and orchard.

This is a very strange investigation and case. I've not read anywhere before that the night before the disappeared, Sunday June 21 2020, Noah left his home at 3.34am, and returned at 4.08am. minus footwear and without his headphones which he had left with. www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/foot...

The simple answer to unwanted kittens is to get all male and female cats neutered, it is not to suffocate kittens. Neutering is not that expensive and if you really can't afford it speak with your vet.

More boring #VeganFood, no idea how we survive. #Vegan Black Bean Chilli with tomato, onion and coriander salsa. I used thickened coconut milk with a splash of lime as I didn't have #vegan creme fraiche. Replaced the the meat with a diced Linda McCartney burger - worked perfectly.

Picked more of the cooking apples, a surprising number stayed on the trees through #StormAmy. I'm going to cook them and divide them into muffin cases then freeze them. I will then be able to de-freeze portion sizes of cooked apples to make into crumbles or hand pies. #HomeGrown #Gardening #Apples

It's desperate isn't it, I would like to move somewhere smaller now - I'm 73 and the smallholding is too much work for me really, but I can't afford the astronomical rents and I wouldn't be able to buy for what I could sell my place for. Social housing doesn't allow cats or bees. We are both stuck 🤗

Planned to cut the last two trunks of the old damson today. Got the saw fuelled and ready, one trunk down before it started to judder, no fixing it on the spot. I’m careful with tools like that, so it’s off for repair tomorrow. Spent the rest of the day weeding the streets and flower garden instead.

When you garden, the seasons live under your fingernails. Autumn arrives not in a bright chill, but in the taste of nasturtium leaves, the last sun-warm tomatoes from the greenhouse, laid between slices of fresh bread in a peppery-sweet sandwich, bright with marigold petals and heartsease flowers.

wealthy countries got the vaccine, not poor countries. If meanstesting for countries had been in place every country would have go what it needed. Instead wealthy countries ended up destroying or donating out of date vaccines to other countries.

means testing means that no one is held to ransome, it does the opposite. It means those who need medication get it. And those that can pay - the wealthy can't outbid them or jump queues. Remember covid when there was an inital shortage of vaccines and countries were outbidding each other ...

Well some people are more able to pay than others, people like the very wealthy. Means testing need not be evil, it can ensure that those who need assistance get it, even when or if there is a limited supply of medications/vaccinations-it levels the playing field.
