🧬 You'll develop an "immune ecotype" framework that uses single-cell RNAseq data to build ML classifiers for early lung disease diagnosis. Build algorithms to integrate scRNA-seq data from >1,000 patients, engineer interpretable immune features, train ML classifiers for disease prediction.

We care a lot about time. Now one of my best science friends, Melania Barile, et al. introduce TemporalVAE, a deep generative model that maps scRNA-seq data onto developmental time! It works with zero-shot & identifies time-sensitive genes @natcellbio.nature.com

TemporalVAE: atlas-assisted temporal mapping of time-series single-cell transcriptomes during embryogenesis
Nature Cell Biology - Liu et al. present TemporalVAE, a method for integrating single-cell time course data. The model proposes a workflow to determine the biological timing of samples and its...

US to stop financial support of global vaccine alliance Gavi, health secretary says
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr said on Wednesday that the U.S. government will no longer contribute to Gavi, accusing the group that helps buy vaccines for the world's poorest children of ignoring safety, without providing evidence.

decoupler has been very useful for us & helps you dive into meaningful sc analysis quickly!

small suggestion to increase uptake: consider changing the logo, at least two python users here initially immediately closed the tab as they thought is was an R package🙃
🔧 decoupler 2.0.6 is out thanks to @paubadiam.bsky.social‬, now as a core @scverse.bsky.social package scverse.org

This release includes a streamlined API aligned with scverse standards, updated vignettes, and a new one on pseudotime enrichment analysis 👇
