We recently celebrated spooky season 👻 and the start of sweater weather 🧥 with a fall installment of the new “Hands-On” series. More than 50 attendees joined for a crafternoon of autumnal activities, including pumpkin painting, ghostly garland making, and creating seasonal suncatchers. 🎃

Sir Thomas Elyot's Latin-English dictionary (1538), was the first book to be titled a "dictionary". It was a pioneering work based on a humanistic approach, introducing many words into English. 📜
