This was one of my favorite episodes! They confirmed a point that I was studying. I've been noticing a link between TSB doctrine and Sith ideology. No one's making a Sith order, but if I had to guess what type of person would...

βš«πŸ”΄Aesthetics isn't just about visuals, it's about molding to taste. The worst sin in #satanism is lack of aesthetics, my own deep sense of my style and tastes. That's my understanding of it at least. For me the aesthetics bleed out into whatever I touch, sometimes for better, sometimes for worst πŸ”΄βš«

My final point, then I'll be out of your hair. We're not here to educate the people we call out specifically, statistically they (you) aren't hearing us out. The point is for the onlookers to catch the message by proxy. It's how I managed to step beyond my TST phase and find #satanism
Unlike Christianity, Judaism, Islam etc where you can't pinpoint the founders and ask them what they meant, there's definitely an authority for us walking the earth in the flesh and blood keeping everything alive. #satanism
CoS is trying to play the long game so that its calendar is it just as long as the other ancient religions someday in the future. That can't happen if everybody's disagreeing on what the religion is. Nobody's stopping them from being Satanists but they can't just freestyle and call it the same name.
I had trouble wording it, I'm not really saying the first guy wasn't one, it's just people bring him up and he's like a solo dude. I actually like that phrasing, "contemporary satanism" so he keeps credit. Still, the people who come after AREN'T though, someone already claimed Satan-ism
I'm not saying him lacking that is what determines whether he started it, I'm saying the lack of coherence and other people practicing along with him is why he didn't start it. Also versus Christianity we're super young so if LaVey entrusts the next guy to lead, he may as well be a founder.
I'm just organizing my thoughts. There's an essay the church wrote about this (or podcast?) that's better written. I'll link it when I find it. Bill M's podcast is youtube.com/@satansplain... This is already too long, but I hope whoever reads Hails Themselves and enjoys the world they thrive in. 🀘🏿

Satanism talk and commentary

After all, I used to be a TST member and it took a lot for me to make the switch. Maybe someone who wants to join from the outside can get that same guidance. Just a thought formed from examining myself, wouldn't say it's coherent, the character limit is kicking my ass. #satanism #churchofsatan
Bill's podcast flipped a lot of things I thought about Satanism on its head giving me clarification. Defending what I am was a rite of passage, one that can be annoying, but very self-fulfilling. Even if I can't get the people who are wrong to see as I see, someone with my QUESTIONS can see⬇️
Don't select those "in the know". I had to step into the unknown and challenge outsiders, pulling from my studies to participate in the infernal teaching. When I did, I not only helped myself, but I left a seed in bystanders minds. Magister Bill M. gets credit for my understanding this⬇️
With the abundance of pocket media, there's no shortage of people practicing what Satanism is not. It's a right of passage for a student to be able to demonstrate their knowledge/challenge the lesson. You need outside influence for that, BUT another practitioner makes an echo chamber. ⬇️
It still didn't satisfy me, why would I waste my time and free will on what others believe? I can't STOP them nor should my heart go out of its own way to. It's not just about preserving the message, you can't change the person you're correcting, but onlookers can get a proper definition... ⬇️
Tbh, it annoyed me. People putting down other people for not believing as they see. Then a teaching made me aware it was to preserve the young message. CoS doesn't have a thousand years under the belt so it's important to guard canon. No bloodshed/crusading, just strong commentary and debate ⬇️
A problem that had been bugging me until recently, sat in the back of my mind. Satanism isn't a community, wildly varying beliefs between each member. Despite that, in places where they DO flock I often would find people going out of their way to find non-practitioners and debate CoS ideology... ⬇️
Stanislaw Przybyzewski did call himself that but that would put him in a proto-satanist kind of category as he had no church or sacred doctrine to determine what makes one a Satanist
I do stress that I'm talking about someone who would go out into the square and say "I am a Satanist" specifically, with like minded people who gather around a set of principles called Satanism
We have a founding doctrine and none of the people after us are adapted from that doctrine. On top of the fact our founding clergy is still alive to determine what is and isn't unlike the other "thousand years" religions, for lack of a better descriptor.
Except they all got their info from central sources, mainly the story of Judaism and adapted their beliefs around or in some opposition to it. No one called themselves a satanist by name unless it was used as a derogatory term by people that sought to paint them as evil.
And as a divine incarnate, you proceeded to select a service provider, go to a store to buy a phone/laptop, and make an account on Bluesky - to usher in Jesus! That's wonderful! I recently bought a ski resort in Texas I'd like to sell to you for some real estate so you can have a bigger audience πŸ‘πŸΏ
What on earth are you on about? I almost had a stroke reading all this
