I haven't, but I've been keeping up with all of the pre-release interviews and the director said a number of times that they wanted to take the franchise in a different direction. Quorra and Sam didn't change the world with her ISO stuff. Sam, Quorra, and Alan are fully MIA. And Kevin is alive?

I'm VERY interested in Tron. Just not a movie that erases everything that happened in the installments before it in favour of taking the story 'in a new direction'. Don't make a movie and call it Tron if it's just borrowing nouns from the IP to lure in the easily baitable. Call it something else.

I LOVE Tron. Legacy and Uprising were amazing. And then they just did nothing with it. Trying to rewrite the franchise with Ares was NOT the right move.

For me? It was the fact that it disregarded everything that happened in Legacy and disrespected the story by pretending like it didn't happen and its leads were failures in order to set up Ares. Which was a scenic route rehash of the villain's plan from Legacy.
