Yes. My social battery used to be a generator, but now it's basically one of those gas station phone chargers that gives you 3% and then bursts into flames.

I think sticks subconsciously resemble a primitive tool/weapon, sparking that old "this could be useful" instinct. As kids, we used sticks as swords, staffs, or pretend tools.
I used to play with sticks, rulers, cardboard tubes, curtain rods and brooms as a kid.
Yes, it's a thing! Sticks are cool!
