I skated a lot back in the day but never got around to games like Skate or Underground. I'm loving Skate Story's humor and surreal, Alice in Wonderland-like psychedelic plot, really curious to see where it goes. Can't stress enough how great the music is 🤘

#SkateStory Steam demo blew me away, WOW.

The abstract underworld settings, realistic skateboarding physics, absurd humor, KILLER psychedelic pop soundtrack (shout out to Blood Cultures), and dazzling psychedelic visuals really hook you in. This is why I fucking love Devolver Digital. @bysameng.com

Checked out the BALLxPIT demo on Steam and it's SUPER fun! I totally get the Balatro comparisons (also reminds me of a chaotic Tetris, which I wasn't expecting!)

Went in blind and really enjoyed my time: the music, environments, upgrades, farming, and gameplay loop got me hooked! #BALLxPIT

Finally watched Luca Guadagnino’s Queer on HBO Max.

Beautiful cinematography, compelling leads, and a delirious drug-infused romance, filled with beatnik undertones, that’s quietly captivating. Not to mention a great anachronistic soundtrack. Really wish I’d seen it in theaters.

The next indie game I'll be diving into is... Crow Country! By
@sfbdim.bsky.social and @sfbtom.bsky.social from SFB Games.

#CrowCountry is a survival horror game reminiscent of tank control classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I love the genre and can't wait to dive in for spooky season!
