If my flight today doesn't involve prolonged stints with turbulence, I will be sooooo happy. Had too many flights involving "moderate chop."

Tested positive for COVID yesterday. First time experiencing this. After over five years of dodging it, I thought maybe (maybe?) I'm one of the "lucky" people. Either asymptomatic or incapable of getting it.

Turns out I'm just as screwed as everyone else. This feels terrible.

"Peak internet" was the short window in history when text messages didn't show YouTube thumbnail previews. Rickroll people at will.

Duolingo, I feel like I am missing a LOT of context for this sentence.

Semi serious F1 question: Did the entirety of Mexico place a curse on Lawson?

I'm not saying that my adolescent sense of humor was disappointed by an obvious omission in today's NYT crossword but...I can't be the only one who thought about it.

Had a brief conversation this morning in Japanese, all thanks to my time on Duolingo.

Really, we don't deserve dogs.

We absolutely deserve cats.

"Drive to Survive" really overestimated how much I care to see Christian Horner. Is he an executive producer?

I mean, at this point, I nominate Kendrick to lead the DNC

I need a Venn diagram of Swifties who pick apart her imagery, and anyone picking apart Kendrick's Super Bowl performance for its imagery.

This Valentine's Day, give them the gift they REALLY want

There has been a lot of talk about implementing term limits, age limits etc for members of Congress. I support this - it forces succession planning, deters "lifetime" appointments, makes space for innovation. The Democrats need to implement this within their own party, and not wait to be changed.

Whenever you watch an episode of "Black Mirror" and wonder how society got there...well, we are living through the prologue of one right now.

With these various companies announcing cancelations of DEI initiatives, perhaps this is a good reminder to consider buying locally where possible. If this news gives your moral compass any sort of pause, consider where you can get the same goods elsewhere. May not be as convenient but worth a shot.

@letsmeatdelray.bsky.social We bought some burgers from you today - I think they were rib cap - and oh my lord these are life changing.

I was curious how and when the bots/trolls would begin infiltrating this app. Scammy fundraising links? Attempts to dissuade people from posting, and/or encouraging people to stop using this service?

Nothing makes me feel like I am straddling a generational divide than prepping Metamucil, and shotgunning it like the legend I have always been

Watching "Drive to Survive" on Netflix is like looking at F1's yearbook for the previous season, except the president of the yearbook club really focuses on including photos of their friends.

Leaving Quebec City shortly, heading back to Montreal. What a beautiful city, and one I hope to explore more in the future. We stayed at Auberge du Tresor, and was perfectly situated for us as we explored Old Quebec. Simple yet lovely.

Finally taking my first full week of vacation since 2019-2020. First stop: Quebec City! Such a gorgeous city with lovely shops and scenery.

Giving BlueSky another shot. While I assume this app has its share of issues, the list of engagement bait words/phrases I needed to block on Threads was becoming impressive.

I just realized that New Year's is one of the days I'm actually nicest to myself. Sleep in, drink a lot of water, eat and move more purposefully.
