I’m disappointed the Hawks couldn’t get the W but the season goals are still in front of them. Finishing the upper half of the BIG, make the NCAA, and improve fan excitement about the program. All those things are turning in the right direction. Still very encouraged about Ben’s program.

Clearly Bluder was the offensive coach because after 1 1/2 years Jan’s offense can be painful to watch. Too many instances of long droughts and the team looking lost on that end.

This is just one loss. Flush it and move on. Iowa will still have a very good year and most likely make the tournament. Ben’s been a very successful coach at every level and he knows what he needs to do. Might as well take the thumping now, move on, and get better.

Iowa will still have a good season and MSU is elite. It shows Ben he definitely needs to improve the interior with some size. I’m just shocked at how bad Stirtz is playing.

I don’t think anyone thought Iowa would win tonight, but I was hoping Ben’s team would have a better showing. Hopefully the second half is better.
