After 8 hours of boiling/steaming, my nan’s Christmas pudding is done! Now to keep feeding it brandy until Christmas.

Yesterday I prepped the Christmas pudding. My late nan’s recipe. I’ve not made it since the year she died. Left to stand overnight. Then added to her pudding bowl and is currently boiling/steaming for 8 hours.

The ingredients for Christmas pudding all piled up on the countertop ready for measuring and mixing.

The mixture all moist in the bowl. There’s apple, carrot, suet, raisins, sultanas, mixed peel, grated peel, orange juice, lemon juice, several spices, some brandy, flour, breadcrumbs, treacle, almonds and a few other bits.

After sitting overnight the mixture is added and pressed into the bowl.

A layer of grease proof paper added over the top then more tied around the top.

Hopefully next season will be better. I might actually try and watch some American drag race that I’ve missed. Although is it only available on WOW?

I haven’t watched American Drag race in a few years and I don’t watch the others so it’s not even that for me. Which makes it so weird that I’m not connecting.

What’s hilarious is old cos play vicar, Calvin Robinson is commenting on the situation and completely ignoring what Fox came out with … ‘better be able to back it up’… like when fox called a couple of gay people paedo?

So, it seems you cannot just call people racist and get away with it.
Words have meanings.
If you are going to call someone a racist, you had better be able to back it up.
Seems fair.

I see Lozza Fox has tried fighting the court decision where he lost against the drag queen Crystal for calling them a paedo. He wants action for being called racist. The court has agreed to listen to his argument so he’s spinning it as a win for himself but no decision on the comment has been made

She really doesn’t. I thought she was in her 50s. She is the more prominent singer isn’t she? I can’t think of the woman who plays the piano. I know they all sing but I’m sure I’ve seen more of Adele as the lead singer
