The WI, girl guides, the pond groups and other groups that are majority cis women have happily accepted trans people for years. Yet the people who claim they represent women & their safety are bullying women’s groups to adhere to their views.

The WI, girl guides, the pond groups and other groups that are majority cis women have happily accepted trans people for years. Yet the people who claim they represent women & their safety are bullying women’s groups to adhere to their views.

The news about the WI banning trans women is disgusting. I’m not mad at the WI because they’ve accepted trans women for 40 years. This is the GC movement. This is then likely threatening legal action and forcing their hand by bullying.

I find it deeply sad that people are celebrating that trans girls can’t go to the guides any more. Lots of transphobic remarks and sneering on any article I see. They’re kids FFS. It’s bad enough trans adults are being targeted generally but to target kids and celebrate really is rancid.

I really despise the word ‘invasion’ … so often I see it used by racists to slime up fear, division and hatred for people. I also see it used by transphobes. A person having a shit or a piss in a toilet cubicle isn’t an ‘invasion’

August had groom this weekend with a new groomer. So much better than the one we tried before who basically sheared him like a sheep despite asking for a teddy bear cut.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing The Sound of Music at the Leicester Curve. Absolutely fantastic! Great cast, brilliant set. Two of these images are from Google as no pictures during the show - obvs. But the third is one I took from behind the stage as the stage area is opened up at the end.

I see all the right wing politicians and publications are up in arms about puberty blocker trials - despite blockers being used on cis kids with precocious puberty.
It is of course their attempt to control autonomy and stop trans people existing anyway they can. Create panic and fear.

The press are of course largely ignoring the criminal damage and labelling the trans person an activist because it’s easier to get readers to be against them that way. Ugh. For like the entire time after my assault, I’ve never been able to see the blurred vision before I get an aura migraine. And my migraines have stopped coming out properly, which isn’t a bad thing. But in the last two weeks the blurred vision has appeared. Currently have it. 😬
