Guitar pedals and audio gear, hand-built in the USA.

It uses an LM386 to drive an "audio exciter" mounted to the steel plate and piezo pickups to convert it back to instrument-level signal. It puts out a decent amount of sound. Now my pedalboard can have tone wood! This was actually the first idea I ever had for a "pedal" about ten years ago.

I built a massive "guitar pedal." It's a 54 inch tall plate reverb—like a spring reverb, just more ridiculous.
I built a 4.5 foot plate reverb "guitar pedal."

A video about how I approach bass tone. I got the Oneder Effects Red Ryder Distortion in a mystery box from Buy or Borrow Music. It pairs well with the Leeward Sound Big Mono Optical Compressor on bass.

My first pedal model from before I launched my company. The Damascus Drive is a distortion pedal with a secret mode to add some sub-octave distortion. Each pedal has a piece of hand-made Damascus steel cut from a billet intended for knife/sword making.

I can confirm the slippery slope portion of this statement. Have fun!
Prepping another batch of point-to-point fuzz pedals in black and red colorways. I'm going to start painting the inside of all enclosures.

I finally got a set of my all-time favorite hi-hat cymbals. To say they have a patina is an understatement. They may be ugly, but they sound fantastic. '96 Zildjian Quick Beat.

Playing one or building one?
That's all anyone really needs—maybe a microphone too.
I was considering doing that as well.
They're my favorite I've tried. The last batch I got was out of spec, so every transistor was unusable. Every one in this batch is correct, so it evens out I guess.
This is my preferred method as well. It helps me focus on what's actually needed.
It's responsive and glassy with the fuzz rolled down and progressively fuzzy (but smooth) as you turn it up. I have it biased so it doesn't get sputtery or gated. I'll be posting a demo clip soon. I'll have a black one ready to ship in about a week. I could sell this one if red is preferred.
I picked up this beautiful 1951 Silvertone six-transistor (germanium) pocket radio, so I'm obviously going to turn it into a mini guitar amp. I plan on doing it in a non-destructive way, so the radio will still work.

It was a G for me for years, but I switched to D a few years ago after having to change how I played due to a thumb issue on my fretting hand. How about you?

I've been fortunate in my New Old Stock component hunt lately.
