Went to a YA authors fest yesterday and heard such great stuff about why they like to write for teens. Someone asked if they ever feel pressured to censor some themes they might explore bc of the book banning movement and it was heartening to hear none say they did.

I didn’t really wanna do fantasy but I let myself get peer pressured bc it’s one of my oldest friends and her husband and it’s nice to bond. But somehow I ended up in TWO leagues with randos. Now every Thursday evening and Sunday morning I have to tend to two rosters bc I can’t just not compete
