This Deaf Awareness Week, let’s talk about what really creates barriers—it's not deafness, it’s ableism.

Ableism is when society’s built in a way that excludes people with disabilities.

That could mean no captions, no sign language, or just not listening.

Join us as we head into the Dark Room at Streetlevel Photoworks for our fourth and final session working with the team.

Our young leaders are producing some incredibly powerful images which will be used to begin a discussion on bigotry and discrimination in our communities.
