A new piece I’ve been working on for a show, “Loreleaf” watercolor and ink on Masonite

Loreleaf is a tree dryad she has leaves embracing her and a leaf mask. Branches and leaves bloom from her hair. She also has a little bird familiar with her.

funny I just commented on this post about how Portland was a burnt out husk too, lol. Even though, living here, I can see it is not. I often have acquaintances from other states argue with me about how damaged Portland now is. They tell me I am just watching lying media, lol.

oh yes, Portland is a burnt out husk too from the protests a few years ago. I keep getting informed that my city was burned down, which is odd, as I am here and it is a vibrant and beautiful and fun as always.
