📣 In a significant ruling, UK courts have found BHP legally responsible for the catastrophic collapse of the Fundão tailings dam in Mariana, Minas Gerais. This ruling comes the week after the 10th anniversary of Brazil’s worst environmental crime.

Occurring 49 years and 5,600 miles apart, the #ToxicLegacy of mining disasters in Aberfan & Mariana unites two communities in struggle.
