So Mike Johnson isn’t calling the House in session until at least January, if not later. So they are not doing any work at all, yet getting paid. And there are no republican House members objecting to this… why woul they? Free money, vacation, and so on.

I love that journalists (except for OAN) who covered the Pentagon all left their former offices in solidarity at 4 PM, the deadline set by the DOD to leave.

Another Venezuelan boat strike ordered by Hegseth/Trump, killing all six occupants. We still haven’t found out the evidence that any of the obliterated boats were carrying drugs to the US. Some say one of the boats was composed of fishermen. These seem like arbitrary strikes—who will investigate?

But he does have a lot to negotiate. He needs to call Congress back and stop playing with the government. They have a lot of work to do but they are doing nothing by staying home. He needs to swear in the new Democratic congresswoman.

In Jan 2025, Biden announced a 3-phase deal btwn Israel & Hamas that began w a 6wk ceasefire. This initial phase resulted in 135 hostages released & more humanitarian aid.
Tho Biden's admin negotiated the initial deal, he confirmed that the next admin would be responsible for full implementation.

Biden even complemented Trump. Biden did a lot of work in his administration to get hostages back and end the war, and he got over 100 hostages reunited with their families.
