So let me get this right:

SNCF have more control these days but their ticket offices don't sell Eurostar tickets. Am I missing something here?
Often thought they should rebrand the SNCF station at Hendaye to "Hendaye for San Sebastian"
Many thanks Dominic.
Yes. Was thinking back to 2010 when the e320 order with Siemens was done and the fallout from that. Of course the shareholder make-up was slightly different back then with the UK Government holding a stake. Obviously Alstom was not happy back then. Not sure how SNCF felt at the time(if they cared)
One other longshot theory, does Eurostar management want to pursue an order with Siemens but SNCF would prefer some form of Alstom order?
If only the SBB online shop delivered "abroad"
I don't know what to say about that advert.

I get the feeling this is just a selling point of Virgin's bid to get depot access across the line that will probably not happen.
A quick video at Colyton
Went to a hidden gem that I wasn't aware of in East Devon.....the Seaton Tramway. Definitely recommend.

Based on my last 15 years of rail travel in Western and Central Europe, yes 🇫🇷 has a great high speed network (certainly compared to 🇬🇧), but it's classic regional services looks to have had serious under investment. I would like to know how they define "leading European railway"
Great colours and I think the hat works very well.

I was due to be heading to Montpellier Sud De France and using the bus link into the city centre back in April but had to cancel the trip. Kind of glad now that any future visit to that station will mean using the tram into the city centre.
When I think of Coventry station I think of my BR and Virgin Trains "Cross-country" journeys I did between Leeds and Southampton Airport Parkway to get to Guernsey......as it was one of many stops.
And Dax by 2031 if I understand this correctly?
Can't wait to try a
Frecciarossa one day. It does seem to be the most stable of modern train platforms these days.
Hi Chris
Just checking the €100Bn figure for 36 high speed trains. Is that right or a typo?
Cheers.
How about an operator that does Paris to San Sebastian and Bilbao once the Basque Y is open and connected to the French railway network?
