one thing that always stands out about this art to me as well is the depiction of sin eaters as beings *with* a being clearly visible inside their mouths. like it's taking pains to highlight the fact that sin eaters are largely born of former people

But more genuinely I dont think he tries to be a Shotcaller as much as just. He listens to shots and doesnt hesitate charging in, so he ends up getting followed a lot. He will start the LB cascade.
