I’m starting to feel the chill of fall and I am starting to think about all of the cozy projects

This yarn is called Pumpkin Pie Spice. One of my favorite things about fall. I love it, and can't wait to wrap myself in its rich fall warmth

Summer Sale! 25% off Select Yarns

I have some great yarns that need a new home. Yarns that have been discontinued by the mills, some one of a kind yarns I decided weren’t quite right, but are still pretty awesome. There are some great finds! Make sure to check them out!

This yarn is named Astoria. Astoria sits in the upper left corner of Oregon where the Columbia meets the Pacific Ocean. It blends together blues and greens together as river meets ocean.

This yarn is called Sea Shore. This yarn will take you away on a peaceful vacation to the seashore. Peaceful lapping waves, sunny skies forever, sea gulls cawing in the distance, your favorite yarnie project. Nothing but rest and relaxation. You deserve it!
I have a new scarf out in Little Looms Magazine! It is my tribute to my beautiful Katsura trees.

The yarn is Spincycle Dyed in the Wool color Salty Dog for the yellow. The purple is Spinster's Daughter Sport in color Sinopah. 🧶
Color of the Week: Toffee

This yarn is called Toffee. Deep, rich and caramelly toffee. It's sweet and sticky color warms up any project. It reminds me of Molly Moon's Salted Caramel ice cream.

I dyed these balls of Woolly Worsted for Clear Creek Farm's Learn to Knit class kits. The yarn is 100% American Targhee wool grown, processed, and dyed here in the US.

The class is taught by my friend Tami, was the go-to teacher for Tolt, before it closed. 🧶
June marks the beginning of summer camping. What could be more perfect than a beautiful skein of S’mores yarn?

This yarn is called S’mores. It reminds me of the ooey gooey marshmallow perfectly toasted with melting chocolate smooshed between two golden graham crackers.

I'm teaching a Tapestry Class on May 30th at Clear Creek Farm in Duvall on a variety of Tapestry techniques. All tools and materials are included during the workshop!

Friday, July 25th, I am teaching a Nature Tapestry Workshop. We will gather flowers and grasses and weave them into our tapestries!
Some lovely yarn drying in the morning sun. Believe me there is nothing softer and more squishy than wool that has dried in the warmth of the sun. Next it will be rewound into neat skeins and labeled just in time for the trunk show next week.🧶

Color of the Week: Sunburnt Penguin

This color name was chosen by my daughter because she thinks it looks just like a penguin with a sunburn. After she said it I couldn’t think of anything else, plus it’s kinda cute. So Sunburnt Penguin it is!

At my last Frame Loom Tapestry class. I taught two new weavers how to use the frame loom. I’m so excited for these brand new weavers! My next class is this Friday, April 18th and we have added a new date for Friday, May 30th! All levels welcome! All tools and materials included for use during class!
As promised, I have a brand new yarn to share with you! Mosaic Bulky is 86% wool with a 14% nylon/poly binder thread. It is so squishy and soft! I want to make a sweater out of it. I think a fun scarf pattern would be excellent as well. Needles #9-11US. Sett suggestion of 8. Hook size J-L. 🧶
The color is Columbia River Remix. It is a blend blue, green, and brown, which feels just like visiting the Columbia River.
