Quick story. First corp job, 1999. I was the first one hired in this start up in my position. As we expanded, we had to hire another “me.” The candidate they wanted was a man, who was demanding more money. I went to my boss and flat out asked if they were going to pay him more than me. Cont.

My friend just had a mastectomy and posted her medical bill. Just the hospital bill, no doctors and anesthesia included, or all her 30 prior doc visits and tests. $74,000
