Poppies joined Year 1 listening to a parent who volunteered to talk about Windrush. All children were engaged in his story and enjoyed joining in with phrases. This was all part of our learning in Black History month. @tvinfants.bsky.social @lakshmitvi.bsky.social @tvi-families.bsky.social

Here we have both Poppies and Daisies children during their teaching time. From turn-taking games, to play-dough animals, cutting and sticking to make sentences and matching activities all these children are working very hard ⭐️⭐️ @tvinfants.bsky.social

For Black History month we were inspired by famous heroes such as Mary Seacole, Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks. We decorated our own ‘celebration’ hand to show what makes us all special and a hero to others @tvinfants.bsky.social @tvi-families.bsky.social
