I have not seen one on it, but I have seen some munched leaves and adults flying around the yard! I've also found them on my Viburnums! Just added a Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus) in hopes of getting more :)

Lonicera sempervirens (Trumpet Honeysuckle) that was a tiny plug 2 years ago and still flowering in September! I've had lots of hummingbird visits on it this year. It's handling my heavy clay and full sun yard well. Want to add one to your yard? We currently have plugs in the Nursery! #nativeplants

The joy of finding #bumblebees sleeping on flowers. This one was slowly waking up when I got too close for its liking. Sticking its leg out in a ‘it’s much too early and cold don’t bother me’ fashion. #nativeplants #eupatorium

Cool! It does look hard to find resources beyond how to care for your local flora as houseplants! Universities often have great resources, but I'm not sure how to search for departments. Often when people get started they use Plant ID apps. You might be able to start a movement in your community :)

2/2 If it is a large stand, just collecting a couple seed pods shouldn't be problematic. The seed pods fling the seeds, so carefully put your hands around the pod and shake a little. It should pop the pod open! Best sown fall outdoors, you could try some on the ground & some in a milk jug or pot!
laurensgardens.bsky.social
1/2 It took a couple years to fill in! The seed pods can contain around 3-5 seeds. The tricky part is the seeds need to remain moist, so they're often not found in the trade. If you don't know anyone that has it that could share, you might have to grab some pods from the place in your pic!
