What a wild campaign!

To the people of Victoria, thank you for the honour of serving as your MP. It has been the privilege of my life to represent this community - to fight for justice, climate action, and to bring your voices to Ottawa.

New Democrats will always fight to put people first and invest in a stronger, more equitable, social support system.

We made this video back in 2019 when I first ran to be a Member of Parliament and the message still rings true today.

Happy Vaisakhi! It was wonderful to attend yesterday’s celebration at the Gurdwara.

Sikhism embodies equality, justice and being of service to others. Values that are inherent to New Democrats.

May we continue to lift each other up and lead with compassion.

Today we commemorate the bravery, courage and sacrifice made by every Canadian who fought at Vimy Ridge during the First World War.

We also pay tribute to all those who have served and continue to serve Canada, at home and abroad.

Lest we forget.

Poilievre met with residential school deniers and refused to apologize.

He refuses to drop his candidate Aaron Gunn, who made horrific comments about residential schools and supports Putin’s attacks on queer rights.

Today Colin Plant, Maja Tait & I joined UNITE HERE Local 40 workers in Victoria as they rallied for a fair contract that recognizes their hard work & contributions.

They’re standing up for fair wages, job security & respect in the workplace - rights that all Canadians should be afforded.
